An exhibition of digital prints from the seven main Print Workshops in Ireland & Northern Ireland 

at the Print Showroom at Cork Printmakers

In 2016 Cork Printmakers was awarded a Small Capital Grant from the Department of Arts Heritage & the Gaeltacht, to purchase a new state of the art Epson SureColor P9000 Large Format Digital Printer, opening up an new avenue of artistic pursuit for our members and visiting artists. In celebration of this and as part of the FIRST EDITION Print Symposium, the seven main print Studios in Ireland and Northern Ireland were invited to put forward a digital print by one of their artist’s members. 

Participating artists; Dónall Billings - Belfast Print Workshop; Janine Davidson - Black Church Print Studio; Maeve Lynch - Cork Printmakers; Vanessa Jordan - Galway Print Studio; Merijean Morrissey - Graphic Studio Dublin; Isabella Walsh- Limerick Printmakers, Studio & Gallery and Angela Darby - Seacourt, The Centre for Contemporary Printmaking. 

Darn Thorn, artist and photographer, was invited to select a digital print for Cork Printmakers, following an open call to our membership. He selected Moveable Mountain by Maeve Lynch.
